“…even the ability to work hard and gain wealth comes from God…”

Dear Children,
You may have friends who have many material things in their lives. Some may have big cars, and others may live in big houses. Do you think it is only because of their parents’ hard work that they can afford all these things?
Let us see what the Bible says: Deuteronomy 8:18, “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…”.
This verse teaches us that even the ability to work hard and gain wealth comes from God. Without Him, we would not have the strength, health, or opportunity to do these things.
Many people forget this. They begin to rely only on themselves and focus more and more on earning money. Over time, they become so busy with their work that they forget about God. Slowly, they drift away from Him and from their faith.
The problem is not that people become rich. The real problem is forgetting that God is the one who gives them the power to gain wealth.
Therefore, dear children, let us always remember that everything we have comes from God—even our health and energy to work. Let us not neglect our love for our Almighty God, who has blessed us with so much.
Remember, God has warned us in the parable of the rich fool that everything we have can be taken away at any time. So let us love Him, trust Him, and always put Him first.
